Since 2002, Barona Charter School (BCS) is a publicly funded TK–8 charter school located on the Barona Indian Reservation. Founded in 2002, BCS proudly serves Native American students as well as families from the surrounding communities of Lakeside, El Cajon, Poway, San Diego Country Estates, Ramona, and Santee.

Committed to academic excellence and cultural respect, BCS provides a supportive learning environment that values community, tradition, and student success.
